| Dear XRF subscriber,
Welcome to the fourth issue of the British Crystallographic Association (BCA) Industrial Group
dedicated XRF Newsletter. There is a copy of this Newsletter on the web.
A varied programme of interest to anyone working with or considering using XRF has been put together at our April meeting in Canterbury. We have several international speakers and even a poster from China. You might have seen the article in Chemistry World about paper analysis with XRF - well Prof. Luisa Carvalho will be presenting some of this interesting work at the meeting!
Our Next meeting!

The diverse programme should offer something for all and combined with the dedicated commercial exhibition makes this an important XRF meeting that you should attend. Call for papers 2008 XRF meeting.
We plan to build on the success of our May 2006 meeting with another joint meeting with the Atomic Spectroscopy Group, Analytical Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry on 14th May 2008.
The model of short user talks went down well with delegates and even first time speakers were put at ease by the friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities.
Now is the time to start thinking about what you could offer in a short presentation of your XRF work at the 2008 meeting. Please use the contact us link at the foot of this page to discuss a possible presentation.
To give you some ideas, a detailed report on the 2006 meeting with photographs is available from the link below.
